Christen is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association where she is currently pursuing her doctorate degree. Prior to her experience with the NCCA, she received a Bachelors in Business Administration from Western Carolina University and a Masters in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson University.

Christen works full-time in kids and youth ministry at Grace Mills River Church. She specializes in counseling children and teenagers as well as young women who are entering adulthood and navigating their twenties. Her heart is to see people of all ages know who God has created them to be and to help them see God’s hand in their story. Outside of ministry and counseling, she loves being outdoors and spending time with family and her dog, Scout.
